Garden Group members left the Vale in light rain but arrived at Highfields Garden to sunshine and blue skies. Our hosts welcomed us with tea and cake before escorting us on a tour of their unusual garden dominated by very tall and unusual varieties, many happily self seeding. We learned about many different varieties of Hydrangea, including a tree form and even plants related to Japanese Knotweed.
