The Garden Group were given a guided tour of  the allotments close to the Cowbridge bypass by Stewart, a group member and allotment holder.

The Chair and Vice Chair of the Cowbridge Community Allotments Committee were kind enough to give a short talk on the history and aims of the allotments and how they are organised and operated.  There are obviously some very keen gardeners involved and a whole range of produce, fruit and flowers were on show despite the very dry July we have just experienced.  The allotments even include bee hives and resident hedgehogs and squirrels.
