May 2026 Greece and Argentina

The May presentation included four examples of the Blueprint Wine Range from a local supermarket. Greek White Wine, crafted to reflect the world's classic regions and styles. It was a pleasant refreshing wine including some of Greece's best white grape varieties. This was followed by Gavi Piedmont, which was fruity and refreshing, with a hint of pear and citrus flavours, producing a juicy texture and a zesty finish, typical of the Cortese variety.

The first red wine was Argentinian Malbec, which was rich and soft, with fruity blackberry and plum notes, with a mellow hint of oak. It came from Mendoza in Argentina, the world's most famous Malbec region. Finally, Reserve Claret, had a soft texture and was well balanced. Made from supple Merlot, with freshness from Cabernet Sauvignon. It had a full berry and plum flavour. All good wines at a reasonable price.
