Peter Carter stepped in valiantly to present the July session. After giving the previous month’s, he helped out as we were devoid of another volunteer. He provided four different wines, which were ‘blinded’ and we had to answer questions on country of origin, type and cost. This was a challenge for all members. We also had a well-constructed general knowledge quiz on the theme of ‘Thomas, Tommy and Tom.’ A good night was had by all.
