A team of six participated in this event, in aid of the Mayor's charity, Llamau, which supports young people, women and children who are facing or experiencing homelessness. A further four Cowbridge u3a members were in one of two teams representing the town council.

Apart from the music round, the questions had a Cowbridge theme, and the evening started well, with the u3a team joint leaders at the half way point. After an excellent curry from local restaurant Shampan, a round of questions about the history and plants of the Physic Garden proved too much. As partial compensation for missing out on the main prize two team members were successful in the raffle, winning a bottle of wine, and a box of goodies from Forage.

All in all a most enjoyable evening for all who took part.
