Maggie Jenkins Maggie was born in Llantrisant and currently lives in Coychurch.

In her teenage years she worked on several farms in the area, before becoming a police officer working from Barry, but also covering Cowbridge and the Vale.

Now retired, she writes both historical and crime based novels. 

Her books all have a connection with the Old Glamorgan area and its colourful history.
