You do not need binoculars or a telescope to join.

In search for clear dark skies we meet at 2000 at  the homes of members.  We may arrange meetings on other evenings if the weather is good. Some members also attend the Bridgend Astronomical Society which meets on the third Wednesday of each month.

On nights when it is not clear we will discuss topical issues relating to astronomy and the night sky, covering the Moon, planets, stars and galaxies and the history of astronomy.  

We also plan occasional trips to places of astronomical interest, including Dark Sky sites in the Brecon Beacons.
