This Group was started in 1998 and meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month at 10.30am to read and discuss books selected by the Group, in members' houses.

We have found from experience that more than ten members makes the group unwieldy as a lot of people have "downsized" and are not able to fit everyone in. Also, if you are the last person to speak, you could find that all your points and opinions have already been covered. We are therefore unable to accept new members at present, but you may contact the Group Organiser, Jane Foley, to have your name put on a waiting list.

In December we make a point of discussing a book which has been filmed and is out in DVD which we then watch in January, and contrast the two. This meeting is always followed by a very enjoyable lunch at a local hostelry.

There is no subscription for this group.
