Intermediate conversational.

Meets fortnightly from 10.30am to noon on Tuesdays at Judith Nunn's house.

We meet in a relaxed environment over coffee.

There are currently 7 in the group – 4 men and 3 women. New members are welcome.

We try to talk continually in Spanish, helping each other when necessary and sometimes referring to the dictionary or grammar book.

Usually we start with personal news and occasionally some people prepare something in writing first, but no writing takes place in our meetings unless an individual has a specific request.

We read news items, short stories etc and sometimes watch a DVD in Spanish or listen to recordings, but we follow no set pattern or book.

It is not a group for beginners but we support and help each other. Our main aim is to improve confidence in the spoken language and learn more about the life and culture of Hispanic countries.
