The Natural History Group is actively looking for new and enthusiastic members to join us. 2025 has been a quiet, transitional year for the group. We used to meet in the morning, on the first Thursday of the month. We experimented with having meetings on an ad hoc basis, but with limited success. A provisional programme for 2026 has been drawn up with the additional intention of reviving short notice field trips to suit the required conditions. “NH Extra”. Also, during lockdown we circulated our wildlife observations “ NH Obs” which was much enjoyed, and that is to be recommenced.

There will be an indoor Winter meeting in December where details of the programme will be discussed, the results of the photographic competition will be displayed and announced, the annual quiz will take place, prizes awarded, all accompanied by sherry and mince pies.

Prospective new members are invited to attend to meet the other members, and join a team for the quiz.

Prospective members and guests are most welcome, but need to inform Paul prior to the meeting. Please contact Teresa Jenkins if you would like to join the group as a member or guest so that you can be added to the circulation list as appropriate. A reminder about each meeting is sent by email about 1 week beforehand.

Dogs are not allowed.
