We meet on an ad hoc basis three or four times a year attending u3a, Village & Charity quizzes. They are fun and enjoyable social events that help support worthwhile causes.

Cowbridge Rotary Club Grand Charity Quiz in November 2019
Twenty eight teams, each of 4 members, participated in the November 2019 Rotary Club Charity Quiz in Cowbridge Town Hall. Many Cowbridge U3A members were spread around the contesting foursomes. There were 12 rounds of 10 general knowledge questions each, split into three sessions, with only 4 minutes allowed to answer each round before papers

Inter-U3A Quiz in Cowbridge July 2019
In July 2019, twelve teams, most with five members, drawn from Bridgend (two entries), Pontyclun, Cardiff (who supplied three teams), Porthcawl, Swansea and four teams from Cowbridge, hotly contested an inter-U3A quiz, hosted, for the third time in four years, by Cowbridge U3A. Maesteg U3A kindly hosted another inter-U3A Quiz in June 2019 at Coytrahen Community Centre.
