We meet on an ad hoc basis three or four times a year attending u3a, Village & Charity quizzes. They are fun and enjoyable social events that help support worthwhile causes.

Cowbridge u3a Quiz 23 March 2026
As part of its 30th birthday celebration Cowbridge u3a held an inter-u3a Quiz in Cowbridge Town Hall. Ten teams of four from Porthcawl, Swansea, Pontyclun, Tonyrefail, Torfaen and the Cynon Valley joined seven teams from Cowbridge to answer questions on a wide range of subjects, including Geography, Wales, the 1990's, History, Sport, Art and Culture,

15th November 2025 Cowbridge Rotary Quiz
Once again Cowbridge U3A entered three teams in this annual event. Out of a field of 17 teams one team came joint third raising £25 for the British Heart Foundation. It was a very enjoyable evening also helped by four members each winning a raffle prize.

Inter u3a Quiz, Pontyclun 28 October 2025
Cowbridge u3a entered two teams into this event, organised and hosted by Pontyclun u3a. Other teams were from Tonyrefail u3a, Bridgend u3a, Swansea u3a, Cardiff u3a, and, of course, Pontyclun u3a. After a Tabletop picture and puzzle quiz, and 5 rounds of questions on Science and Nature, Sports and Pastimes, TV and Films, Art, Music
